POSITION DESCRIPTION FOR LAW CLERK
SUMMER WORK FOR 6 WEEKS ($19 per hour)
Objective:
Preparing future lawyers for actual work in a law firm.
Assists attorneys with:
Legal research.
Reviewing and analyzing new files, including extensive medical
records and claim file materials.
Drafting pleadings.
Other duties as assigned by attorneys.
Skills needed:
Superior reading and writing skills, with emphasis on grammar,
spelling, and comprehension of content.
Proficient in Word.
Time Management, specifically in tracking time spent on tasks.
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail.
