Exams & Illness
During the Town Hall, we received questions about how illness will be addressed for exams. The Academic Regulations contemplate the possibility of illness that might prevent a student from taking an exam (Regulation 10.6) and illness that might arise during an exam (Regulation 10.9). If you are unable to take an exam due to illness, you should contact Dean Wilson as soon as you determine that you will not be able to take the exam. If you become ill during an exam, you should contact Dean Wilson and your professor (or a person your professor designates) right away. Please read both regulations in full and follow up with Dean Wilson if you have any questions.
On a related note, if you cannot attend (remotely) one of your classes, please reach out to your professor as needed so that the professor can work with you to help you stay on track. If you have concerns about your ability to meet your professor’s current attendance policy in light of COVID-19 related disruptions, please reach out to your professor to discuss your concerns.
If you have additional questions, please contact Dean Wilson.
