You Might Be Right podcast live taping at Memphis Law August 27th

Memphis Law in honored to welcome former Tennessee Governors Phil Bredesen and Bill Haslam to campus on August 27^th for a taping of their You Might be Right podcast at 4pm in Wade Auditorium. The Memphis Law community is invited to attend.

The episode is titled: Who judges the judges? 

America’s judicial system has accountability measures ranging from lifetime judicial appointments to routine judicial elections, depending on the office. Should judges be given more insulation to preserve their independence, or is public feedback on their performance an important part of the democratic system? In this episode, the Governors and their guests discuss judicial accountability and whether reforms are needed to protect the integrity of the courts.
