{"id":8632,"date":"2017-06-15T11:31:40","date_gmt":"2017-06-15T16:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/onlegalgrounds.law.memphis.edu\/wordpress\/?p=8632"},"modified":"2017-06-22T14:01:02","modified_gmt":"2017-06-22T19:01:02","slug":"aces-and-judicial-training-research-assistant-position-apply-by-june-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/memphislawblog.com\/index.php\/aces-and-judicial-training-research-assistant-position-apply-by-june-29\/","title":{"rendered":"REMINDER:  ACEs and Judicial Training Research Assistant Position &#8211; Apply by June 29"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are now accepting applications for a Research Assistance (RA) grant to help develop a pilot training on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) for judges\/court personnel in the fall 2017 term.\u00a0 The official announcement and statement of requirements follows below.\u00a0 <strong><em>The deadline for applications is 3:00pm on Thursday, June 29.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 To apply, please submit a resume with cover letter (addressed to Selection Committee, which shall be appointed by the Dean) describing your interest in and qualifications for a grant, and the reasons you believe the Committee should select you for a grant.\u00a0 We anticipate this grant will be renewable for the spring term.\u00a0 (<em><u>Note: Students should make sure, before applying, this research <\/u><\/em><em><u>assistant position would not negatively affect any existing obligations (e.g. Humphreys Fellowship or any other service scholarship).<\/u><\/em><em>)<\/em> \u00a0Submit applications electronically to Ms. Karol Landers at <a href=\"mailto:kusmani@memphis.edu\">kusmani@memphis.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 It will make this process easier if you submit the application as a single PDF document.\u00a0 The subject line of the email should clearly state your name and the connection to the ACEs-Judicial Training RA Grant.\u00a0 Please address any questions about this opportunity to Institute for Health Law &amp; Policy Director, Professor Amy Campbell.<\/p>\n<p><em>The ACEs and Judicial Training Grant for Research Assistance was created through an award from The ACE Awareness Foundation to the Institute for Health Law &amp; Policy at the Cecil C.
