{"id":6888,"date":"2016-10-06T14:31:45","date_gmt":"2016-10-06T19:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/onlegalgrounds.law.memphis.edu\/wordpress\/?p=6888"},"modified":"2016-10-06T14:31:45","modified_gmt":"2016-10-06T19:31:45","slug":"2016-hnba-region-x-scholarship-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/memphislawblog.com\/index.php\/2016-hnba-region-x-scholarship-opportunity\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 HNBA Region X Scholarship Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Region X of the Hispanic National Bar Association (\u201cHNBA\u201d) is pleased to offer two scholarships in the amount of $500 each for law students currently enrolled in a law school in Ohio, Tennessee, or Kentucky who have:<\/p>\n<p>demonstrated academic excellence in undergraduate and\/or law school;<br \/>\ndemonstrated a commitment to community service; and\/or<br \/>\ndemonstrated a committee to promoting diversity and\/or inclusion in the legal profession.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship opportunities are open to all law students. The scholarship application is attached to this email. The completed application, personal statement and resume must be emailed to Professor Molina at mmolina@law.capital.edu by October 17, 2016 by 5:00p.m. Scholarship recipients will be notified on or before October 20, 2016.
