We\u2019ve had a few students stop by with questions about printing, so IT has\u00a0put together some instructions on the topic that you can find below.<\/p>\n

There are two important things to know prior to printing. First, you must be connected to the \u201cUofM\u201d wifi network for this to work. If you are connected to the \u201cUofM-Guest\u201d wifi, you will not be able to login.\u00a0Second, Web Print will only accept the following file types:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Microsoft Excel<\/td>\nxlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Microsoft PowerPoint<\/td>\npot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Microsoft Word<\/td>\ndoc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx, rtf<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
PDF<\/td>\npdf<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Picture Files<\/td>\nbmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
XPS<\/td>\nxps<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Wireless\u00a0Printing through iPrint<\/h1>\n

  1. Open your browser and type\u00a0http:\/\/iprint.memphis.edu<\/a><\/strong> in the address bar, then hit enter.\n
  2. Click the \u201cMY ACCOUNT\u201d text to be directed to the login page.\n
  3. Proceed to login with your University of Memphis username and password.\n
  4. Once you have logged in to the site, scroll to the right and find the \u201cWEB PRINT\u201d text, then click on it.\n
  5. Click on the blue text that reads \u201cSubmit a Job\u201d.\n
  6. In the \u201cQuick Find\u201d box, type in \u201cLW\u201d for Law, then click \u201cFind Printer\u201d. This will display the two iPrint enabled printers \u2013 LW206P01 (located near the 2nd floor computer lab) and LW432P01 (located in the 4th floor computer lab). Select\u00a0the printer you prefer, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click the \u201cPrint Options and Account Selection\u201d link.\n
  7. Select how many copies you would like to print, then click the \u201cUpload Documents\u201d button.\n
  8. Upload your document to be printed. You may either upload the document from a file or simply drag and drop it into the upload box, then the click the \u201cUpload & Complete\u201d button.\n
  9. Once you click the\u00a0\u201cUpload & Complete\u201d button you will be directed to this page. \u00a0Your document will queue and then print.\n
