Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa will be holding a FOOD LAW STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT from September 20 to October 2, 2016.\u00a0 The summit is a forum for law students from around the country who share a passion for creating an equitable, transparent, healthy and sustainable food system.\u00a0 While there students will:<\/p>\n
-Learn from policy practitioners, academics, activists, farmers, and more<\/p>\n
-Built a network\u00a0of food law and policy colleagues<\/p>\n
-Work on policy solutions for today’s most pressing food challenges<\/p>\n
-Tour local farms and farmer’s markets<\/p>\n
