Please review the Course Schedule and Course Grid closely; there were revisions.<\/p>\n<p>Registration Schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>November 16 for veterans and JD\/MBA students (MBA courses only) at <strong>7:00 a.m. If you are a JD\/MBA student, please email the Law Registrar, Cheryl Edwards, for instructions on registering for your MBA courses.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>November 17 3Ls (43+ attempt hours) beginning at <strong>noon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>November 19 2Ls (15-42 attempt hours) beginning at <strong>noon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>November 20 1Ls (0-14 attempt hours) beginning at <strong>8:00 a.m.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are some tips before registration begins.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/registrar\/registration_courseinformation.php\">Law Registrar\u2019s Registration Memo<\/a> in its entirety.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/registrar\/students\/selfserv\/quick.php\">Review the steps<\/a> for Preparing to Register and How to Register.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Check your account for and clear Holds. Those will prevent you from registering. Only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/usbs\/\">USBS<\/a> can clear financial-related holds.<\/li>\n<li>Check if you need an Alternate PIN. Needing an Alternate PIN will prevent you from registering for classes. Email <a href=\"mailto:lawregistrar@memphis.edu\">lawregistrar@memphis.edu<\/a> for an Alternate PIN.<\/li>\n<li><strong>READ THE FOOTNOTES<\/strong> on the last page of the Course Schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Any updates going forward will be announced via the Blog.<\/li>\n<li>Watch the <a href=\"https:\/\/memphislawblog.com\/\">Blog<\/a> for announcements regarding advising sessions. Make an appointment to receive academic advising!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seminars satisfy the Advanced Writing Requirement.\u00a0 These courses are limited-enrollment by design.\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Students who need a seminar to satisfy the Advanced Writing Requirement have priority for seminar seats.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>NOTE: Students who have satisfied their Advanced Writing Requirement by completing a seminar in a previous semester or Law Review Note must wait until Friday, November 20, to register for either seminar offered.\u00a0 \u00a0If you have any questions about seminar enrollment, please contact Ms. Edwards or Dean Romantz.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Law students who have accommodations through the Disability Resources for Students office are NOT permitted to register early, even if 1)\u00a0<strong><em>myMemphis<\/em>\u00a0messaging states otherwise<\/strong>, 2)<strong> the system were to allow you to register before the start time, and\/or<\/strong> 3)<strong> a DRS email says you can<\/strong>. <strong>Students with accommodations may register only on their designated day at their designated time based on their attempted hours.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ask questions about anything you do not understand.
