The Environmental Appeals Board at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is now accepting applications for our Honors Clerkship Program. The Environmental Appeals Board is an appellate tribunal established by regulation to hear appeals under all of the major environmental laws that EPA administers.<\/p>\n

The two-year Honors Clerkship position is open to students who are currently in their third year of law school, students in graduate degree law programs who will receive their degree by June 2025, and recent law school graduates who are completing a judicial clerkship or fellowship by October 2025. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Candidates with excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, a commitment to public service, and a demonstrated ability to take on significant responsibility are encouraged to apply.\u00a0The Environmental Appeals Board recognizes the need for attorneys of varied backgrounds and skills and offers an inclusive environment that relies on diverse perspectives to ensure we effectively serve the American people.<\/p>\n

This is an office-centered position and the selected candidate must physically report to the duty station in Washington D.C. on a regular basis. EPA offers flexible work schedules and partial work-from-home schedules for eligible employees.<\/p>\n
