TVA<br \/>\nemploys over 10,000 people and provides services to Tennessee as well as to<br \/>\nparts of 6 other states across the Valley. Additional information about the<br \/>\nwork of TVA may be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tva.gov\" rel=\"nofollow\">http:\/\/www.tva.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>TVA\u2019s Office of General Counsel (OGC) employs approximately 45 attorneys as<br \/>\nwell as other professionals who provide a full range of legal services to TVA,<br \/>\nincluding representing TVA\u2019s interests in judicial and administrative litigation.<br \/>\nOGC is also responsible for managing TVA\u2019s Ethics and Compliance program,<br \/>\nas well as Enterprise Records.<\/p>\n<p>Interns accepted for this opportunity will work on a wide variety of legal<br \/>\nmatters across all practice areas represented in the OGC. Practice groups<br \/>\ninclude litigation, regulatory law, commercial law, and employment law.<br \/>\nGuidance and mentorship are available throughout the Internship.<\/p>\n<p><em>As with all <\/em><em>TVA employment, TVA is especially interested in candidates with diverse<\/em><br \/>\n<em>backgrounds. Required Hiring Criteria: Current 2L\u00a0 Preferred Hiring Criteria: Top 33% of the class.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>OGC Internships are compensated on an hourly basis. The Internships require<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>40 hours per week, beginning mid May and ending early August 2025. TVA is<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>currently in a hybrid work environment, and it is anticipated that Interns will<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>work remotely.
