To aid in your preparation for the July 2024 bar exam, we have resources available for you throughout the summer.<\/div>\n

Free\u00a0Bar\u00a0Snacks<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The law school will provide students preparing for the\u00a0bar\u00a0exam on campus with readily available snacks! An assortment of snacks is available daily from Wednesday, May 15 through the end of the\u00a0summer. You can find them on the third floor in the faculty suite. (Please feel free to send any snack recommendations to me.)<\/div>\n

Bar\u00a0Support Series: Weigh-In Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
WEIGH-IN WEDNESDAY is a time for you to gather information during your study period that will enhance your preparation\u00a0for the bar\u00a0exam from week to week. It\u2019s also an opportunity for you to gather with your peers during a time that can feel isolating. These sessions will be come-and-go events where the bar\u00a0preparation\u00a0director, professors, and others may be in attendance.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The first workshop is next week,\u00a0Wednesday, May 22<\/u><\/b>\u00a0(3:00 pm \u2013 4:15 pm). Live in\u00a0Room 127<\/b>\u00a0and via Zoom.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This first workshop will focus on general bar\u00a0exam preparation\u00a0techniques, stress management techniques, and how to capitalize on the MPT section of the bar\u00a0exam.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Every Wednesday from May 22 \u2013 June 19 from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm. All sessions will be recorded. The session scheduled for June 19 will be rescheduled in observance of Juneteenth.<\/div>\n

Individual\u00a0Bar\u00a0Exam Consultations<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Individual consultations are an opportunity for Memphis Law bar\u00a0takers to discuss study schedules, receive written feedback, discuss individualized preparation\u00a0strategies, and ask substantive questions.<\/div>\n

Faculty Bar\u00a0Mentoring<\/strong><\/div>\n

Every graduate of the Class of\u00a02024 will receive a Faculty\u00a0Bar\u00a0Mentor. You should expect to hear from your bar\u00a0mentor by the end of next week. Your mentor will send out encouragement and tips as you prepare.<\/div>\n

MBE Simulations<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The law school will provide a space for you to take your\u00a0bar\u00a0preparation company\u2019s simulations. We will provide space and lunch on four different dates (most of which align with each of the big three company\u2019s dates). Details TBA.<\/div>\n

PMBR Access<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Please note that you will have continued access to PMBR throughout the entire bar preparation period. If you have lost your online access, please let me know.<\/div>\n
