Last Chance to Declare Your Interest!"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"post-27944 post type-post status-publish format-standard hentry category-academic-affairs\">\n<div class=\"post-inner group\">\n<div class=\"entry themeform\">\n<div class=\"entry-inner\">\n<p>Law certificate programs provide students with both specialized study and increased marketability.<\/p>\n<p>Students enrolled in the certificate programs take specialized course tracks and receive mentoring and guidance from faculty advisors<\/p>\n<p>We have 4 certificate programs, each with its own separate faculty advisor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advocacy (Prof. Kritchevsky)<\/li>\n<li>Business (Prof. Letsou)<\/li>\n<li>Health (Prof. Ramsey Mason)<\/li>\n<li>Tax (Prof. Kratzke)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students interested in pursuing certificates who were unable to attend find more information\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/current-students\/certificate-programs.php\">here<\/a> and can watch a recording of today&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/mediasite.memphis.edu\/Mediasite\/Play\/3af745be28f74ec18f0e229b18eba30d1d\">Certificate Information Session<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interested students should declare their interest in pursuing an Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificate by completing the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/current-students\/certificate-programs.php\">Certificate Declaration Form<\/a> by Friday, March 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After declaring your interest,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umdegree.memphis.edu\/\">UM Degree<\/a>, the University\u2019s degree auditing platform, can help you track your progress toward certificate requirements.<\/p>\n<p>1Ls who declare their interest in pursuing a certificate will be assigned to a certificate advisor for individual advising.\u00a0 (Note that students interested in the Health Law Certificate may be assigned to a temporary advisor while Prof. Ramsey Mason is on maternity leave).<\/p>\n<p>Thanks,<\/p>\n<p>Dean Aden<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<h4 class=\"heading\"><\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law certificate programs provide students with both specialized study and increased marketability.
