The Nashville Bar Association\u2019s 2024 Damali Booker 1L Minority Job Fair will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Nashville<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/b>Tennessee. In addition to the Job Fair, there will be a reception for all candidates, participating employers & members of the Nashville Bar on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at the law firm of Butler Snow, 150 Third Ave, South, Suite 1600, Nashville, TN 37201.<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n
We would greatly appreciate your assistance with our effort to recruit aspiring diverse attorneys who desire to pursue a summer clerkship and professional career in Nashville.<\/span><\/div>\n

The link includes a 2024 Job Fair Timeline, Student Registration Form, Student Interview Rankings Form, and instructions on how to participate.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Student Employer Rankings form indicates that a list of\u00a02024 Participating Employers<\/u>\u00a0will be posted on the NBA website in mid-December for the students to review,\u00a0nashvillebar.org\/1L Job Fair<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n

Interested students should return the following documents:<\/strong>\u00a0(1) Student Registration form; (2) Student Interview Rankings form; (3) Cover Letter (explaining the interest or connection to practicing law in Nashville); (4) Current Resume; (5) Short Writing Sample; and (6) both undergraduate & law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are accepted). These materials should be emailed to\u00a0traci.hollandsworth@nashvillebar.org<\/a>,\u00a0no later than January 5, 2024.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

This successful program has been going for decades! Many area employers begin their recruiting process well before they conduct on-campus interviews, and many others do not interview at law schools. Therefore, it is extremely important that the students adhere to the scheduling deadlines to be considered for the program.
