Below are a list of resources that are available to you as you prepare for the bar examination.<\/p>\n

Bar<\/span>\u00a0Support Series: Weigh-In Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
WEIGH-IN WEDNESDAY is a time for you to gather information during your study period that will enhance your\u00a0preparation<\/span>\u00a0for the\u00a0bar<\/span>\u00a0exam from week to week. It\u2019s also an opportunity for you to gather with your peers during a time that can feel isolating. These sessions will be come-and-go events where the\u00a0bar<\/span>\u00a0preparation<\/span>\u00a0director, professors, and others may be in attendance.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Each week an email will be sent (and blog post) providing an overview of what the session that week will feature and any guest lecturers.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Save the date for\u00a0Wednesday, May 24<\/u><\/b>\u00a0(3:00 pm \u2013 4:15 pm). This first workshop will focus on general\u00a0bar<\/span>\u00a0exam\u00a0preparation<\/span>\u00a0techniques, stress management techniques, and how to capitalize on the MPT section of the\u00a0bar<\/span>\u00a0exam.<\/div>\n

Sessions will be both via Zoom and in-person (Room 127), unless otherwise noted.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Every Wednesday from May 24 \u2013 June 21 for 75 minutes will be a Weigh-In Wednesday. All sessions will be recorded.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Zoom information will be distributed by email.<\/div>\n

Individual Bar Exam Consultations<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Individual consultations are an opportunity for Memphis Law\u00a0bar<\/span>\u00a0takers to discuss study schedules, receive written feedback, discuss individualized\u00a0preparation<\/span>\u00a0strategies, and ask substantive questions.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Email Professor DeShun Harris at d.harris@memphis.edu or use the\u00a0link<\/a>\u00a0to schedule an appointment or request more information. Office drop-ins are also available.<\/div>\n

Faculty\u00a0Bar<\/span>\u00a0Mentoring<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Every graduate of the Class of 2023 will receive a Faculty Bar<\/span>\u00a0Mentor. You should expect to hear from your\u00a0bar<\/span> mentor in the coming week. Your mentor will send out encouragement and tips as you prepare; they are available for non-substantive support.<\/div>\n

MBE Simulations<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The law school will provide a space for you to take your bar preparation company’s simulations. We will provide space and lunch on four different dates (most of which align with each of the big three company’s dates). Details TBA.<\/div>\n

Free Bar Snacks<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
