I am writing to provide some information about registration and to make you aware of some additional resources we have for academic advising as you plan your courses.<\/p>\n

Registration Memo<\/strong><\/p>\n First and most importantly, please be sure to read the Fall 2023 Registration Memo and other information on the Registration and Course Information<\/a>\u00a0page.\u00a0 The answers to many of your questions are here, including when you may register.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Rising 3L Advising Workshop Videos and PowerPoints<\/strong><\/p>\n Full-Time and Part-Time Rising 3Ls<\/strong><\/p>\n Review the\u00a0video<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0PowerPoint<\/a>\u00a0from Dean Wilson\u2019s Academic Advising Workshop for Full-Time Rising 3Ls.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n UM Degree<\/strong><\/p>\n The law school has access to\u00a0UM Degree<\/a>, the University\u2019s degree auditing platform. UM Degree will allow you to track your progress toward your JD and show your outstanding requirements as well as options that fulfill those requirements.<\/p>\n If you declare interest in pursuing the\u00a0Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificates<\/a>\u00a0by completing the\u00a0Certificate Declaration Form<\/a>, it can track your progress toward certificate requirements as well.<\/p>\n Please note that UM Degree is not an official record of your degree or certificate progress, but rather a tool for you to use for your planning purposes.\u00a0 The Law Registrar\u2019s Office and certificate advisor will determine whether you have met your degree and certificate requirements, so please contact the Law Registrar or certificate advisor with any questions.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Academic Advising Website<\/strong><\/p>\n We have updated the\u00a0Academic Advising website<\/a>\u00a0with additional helpful resources for you as you plan your course schedule.<\/p>\n
