Then, enter your hours earned into Symplicity under the <em>pro bono<\/em> tab. <strong><em>Pro bono<\/em> opportunity on July 30, 12:00 &#8211; 4:00 p.m. at Southbrook Mall is with the Shelby County Court Costs Clinic<\/strong>. Here is the volunteer sign-up: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSe3p4YvS0uRbIw42uFOoBot-FdYqDb45RqZeS6ZrTbJfduf3A\/viewform\">Shelby County Court Cost Clinic Volunteer Sign Up (google.com)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Below are services to be offered:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Volunteer attorneys will be presenting court cost waivers on behalf of registrants. 7 out of 8 judges for General Sessions-Criminal Court will be presiding.\u00a0 This is a BIG deal because most folks owe court costs, which impact their driver&#8217;s license and ability to get expungements.\u00a0 Students could also assist in this area.\u00a0 We had students run point on the indigency docket at the last clinic.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Shelby County Child Support Services will be reviewing cases for modification purposes, program assistance, and driver&#8217;s license holds.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Expungement service for General Sessions cases.\u00a0 Expungement research will be done by Clerk\u2019s Office.\u00a0 Volunteers will review file with client and make sure they sign necessary documents\/orders.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Shelby County rental assistance program representatives will be on-site to accept applications<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Driver&#8217;s License reinstatement support services \/ Drive While You Pay programs will be on-site for assistance\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Manhood University is offering $2,500 for driver&#8217;s license reinstatement for any registrant who completes program<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Don&#8217;t forget to fulfill your mandatory pro bono\u00a0graduation requirement.
