This Saturday, the Black Law Students Association, partnering with SBA, is hosting a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. Signup any day this week from 12-1 outside of the student lounge.<\/p>\n
The tournament benefits St. Jude, and is limited to law students, faculty and family and St. Jude employees.<\/p>\n
The tournament is at Mississippi Boulevard Church, located downtown near the medical school.<\/p>\n
The tournament starts at 11am with registration beginning at 10:30am.<\/p>\n
The entry fee is $50, but remember all proceeds go directly to St. Jude.<\/p>\n
Teams must have at least 3 players, but no more than 5 players.<\/p>\n
Each team member will receive a t-shirt commemorating the event.<\/p>\n
The tournament is a family friendly event. There will be concessions as well games designed for non-tournament participants.<\/p>\n
If you played basketball professionally or just enjoy shooting some hoops, then we encourage you to come out and play a few games with your friends, classmates, and professors (that\u2019s right). So don\u2019t be shy or embarrassed, sign up and embrace the fact that you\u2019re a law student and not a Marc Gasol.<\/p>\n
