A student with accommodations must register based on their attempt hours unless they are a veteran. This\u00a0<em>is<\/em>\u00a0monitored by the Law Registrar. If you register earlier than your assigned day, the Law Registrar will drop you from your courses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>* Attempt hours are at the bottom of a students\u2019 unofficial transcript. The CURRENT SEMESTER HOURS are <em>NOT<\/em> included in Attempt hours for registration purposes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>~ MAKE A NOTE ~<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BEFORE enrolling in a course, be sure you have met any prerequisites. Prerequisites are listed in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/registrar\/course-catalog.php\">Course Catalog<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students enrolling in an Externship are limited to 16 credits (Academic Regulation 16.1(b).\u00a0 Students enrolled in an externship program may not enroll in more than 16 credit hours, including the externship.\u00a0<\/strong> <strong>(Click here to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/documents\/requestforpermissiontoexceedcredithourmax.docx\">Request a waiver<\/a> from Dean Wilson)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students whose cumulative GPA is below 2.50 are limited to 16 credits.\u00a0\u00a0(Click here to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphis.edu\/law\/documents\/requestforpermissiontoexceedcredithourmax.docx\">Request a waiver<\/a> from Dean Wilson)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Academic Regulation 10.1(b) states, students may not register in courses that have conflicting examination schedules without prior permission from the (Associate) Dean (Click here to <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/ExamConflict\">Request a waiver<\/a> from Dean Wilson)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students who began law school in Fall 2021 (1Ls) will be responsible for registering themselves for their spring 2022 courses.
