The\u00a0 Appellate Project<\/a>, a non-profit dedicated to increasing diversity in the appellate bar, has an opportunity for current and future students (incoming 1Ls to current 3Ls\/4Es).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Appellate Project Mentorship Program<\/strong> is “the first national effort focused on empowering law students of color to pursue appellate work.”\u00a0<\/i>The program pairs current law students with mentors in the appellate field (judges, practitioners, etc.). It also provides resources including “clerkship support, networking opportunities with the appellate bar, skill-building workshops, and guidance on appellate job opportunities.” The program is relatively new but growing rapidly under the leadership of the founder\u00a0Juvaria Khan<\/a>\u00a0and a prominent\u00a0Board of Directors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
