As you know, all law classes for Fall 2021 are scheduled for in-person instruction.\u00a0 Although the University continues to monitor the situation, we currently expect classes to proceed in-person as scheduled. Thus, you should continue to plan for in-person attendance. \u00a0Per University policy, masks are required while indoors and in places where maintaining appropriate social distancing is not possible.<\/p>\n
If you have a disability-related concern about attending courses in person, you should contact Jennifer Murchison<\/a>, Assistant Director for Disability Resources for Students<\/a>, to discuss reasonable accommodations.\u00a0 Absent an accommodation from Disability Resources for Students, students are expected to attend classes in person.<\/p>\n That said, do not come to campus if you are experiencing symptoms, are in isolation or quarantine due to positive test results or exposure, pending test results, or have reason to believe you have come in contact with the virus. \u00a0If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have reason to believe you have come in contact with the virus, please contact the Office of the Dean of Students at deanofstudents@memphis.edu<\/a> or 901.678.2187.\u00a0 If you anticipate an extended absence (e.g., due to quarantine), please contact the Law School Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Meredith Aden, at maden@memphis.edu<\/a> so that the she can assist you with making appropriate arrangements for your classes.<\/p>\n
