First dose counts too! Stop by the SLI office (UC 211) to pick up your free hat, no cap.\u00a0The City of Memphis has contacted the University to remind our campus community that many vaccines are still available this week. The most significant amount accessible is at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Pipkin+Building\/@35.1200424,-89.9813365,15z\/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xf3a11d10f6714027!8m2!3d35.1200424!4d-89.9813365\"><strong>Pipkin Building<\/strong><\/a>, which is located beside the Liberty Bowl Stadium. We understand this is short notice, but felt it was essential to convey this information. These vaccines must be administered before a University of Memphis on-site location will be considered. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of these existing vaccines and their immediate availability. You can find vaccine scheduling information here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/covid19.memphistn.gov\/\"><strong>https:\/\/covid19.memphistn.gov\/<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The University will remain in contact with the City regarding vaccine distribution and provide updates as available.<\/p>\n<p>For any questions regarding this information, contact Dr. Justin Lawhead, Dean of Students and Chief Health and Safety Officer, at <a href=\"mailto:justin.lawhead@memphis.edu\"><strong>justin.lawhead@memphis.edu<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Student Event Allocation<\/strong>\u00a0applications have been extended until\u00a0<em>April 14th<\/em>\u00a0due to the Wellness Break!<\/p>\n<p>The Student Event Allocation (SEA) is an opportunity for Registered Student Organizations to submit proposals for events and programs such as speakers, lectures, dance performances, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The Involvement Ambassadors score each proposal based on a rubric and decide if the organization should receive monetary allocation for their programs, as well as the amount of money, based on the program proposal.
