I am writing to make you aware of some resources we have for Academic Advising as you plan your courses.<\/p>\n
Registration Memo<\/strong><\/p>\n First and most importantly, please be sure to read the Registration Memo\u00a0and other information on the\u00a0Registration and Course Information<\/a>\u00a0page.\u00a0 The answers to many of your questions are here.<\/p>\n UM Degree<\/strong><\/p>\n The law school has access to\u00a0UM Degree<\/a>, the University\u2019s degree auditing platform. UM Degree will allow you to track your progress toward your JD and show your outstanding requirements as well as options that fulfill those requirements.\u00a0 If you declare interest in pursuing the\u00a0Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificates<\/a>\u00a0by completing the\u00a0Certificate Declaration Form<\/a>, it can track your progress toward certificate requirements as well.<\/p>\n Please note that UM Degree is not an official record of your degree or certificate progress, but rather a tool for you to use for your planning purposes.\u00a0 The Law Registrar\u2019s Office and certificate advisor will determine whether you have met your degree and certificate requirements, so please contact the Law Registrar or certificate advisor with any questions.<\/p>\n You may also find the graduation checklists here<\/a> useful.<\/p>\n Schedule Builder<\/strong><\/p>\n In your\u00a0myMemphis<\/a>\u00a0account, you can access the\u00a0Schedule Builder<\/a>\u00a0tool to build a visual version of your schedule.\u00a0 The Schedule Builder tool allows you to register with one click once you have added your schedule to your shopping cart.<\/p>\n Academic Advising Website<\/strong><\/p>\n We have also updated the\u00a0Academic Advising website<\/a>\u00a0with additional helpful resources for you as you plan your course schedule.<\/p>\n
