Planning to graduate in May 2021?\u00a0 Great! Next week, be on the lookout for an email from Cheryl Edwards, Law Registrar.\u00a0 Read the email in its entirety, because it will contain the detailed steps you will take to apply to graduate.<\/p>\n
Below are some deadlines you should know. Get those phones or calendars out (or both), and flag these dates as important! If you do not receive an email and believe you should have, or if you have questions, please contact cedwrds2@memphis.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n Step One \u2013 Complete the Graduation Checklist<\/strong><\/p>\n A Graduation Checklist will be attached to the email you will receive. \u00a0You will not be approved to graduate until the Law Registrar\u2019s office has reviewed, approved your checklist, and provided you with feedback. The deadline to complete and return the checklist to Ms. Edwards is October 16, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Step Two \u2013 Apply to Graduate in\u00a0myMemphis<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The deadline to apply to graduate is\u00a0January 21, 2021<\/strong>. This is a hard deadline.<\/p>\n Step Three \u2013 Diploma name, diploma mailing address, and gown information<\/strong><\/p>\n This step will be also be completed in\u00a0myMemphis<\/em>. The deadline is\u00a0February 12, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n NOTE:<\/strong> Name changes should be processed prior to February 12, 2021. To determine if you need a name change processed, please read this<\/a><\/strong>. Your official name appears in your email.
