c1-8z c1-4g c1-6u c1-90 c1-b\">Southeastern Minority Job Fair<\/strong>, or SEMJF, is a legal interview program which brings together\u00a0<strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-28 c1-29 c1-8z c1-4g c1-6u c1-90 c1-b\">employers from all over the country<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-28 c1-29 c1-8z c1-4g c1-6u c1-90 c1-b\">diverse students from more than 50 law schools<\/strong>\u00a0in the southeastern United States. \u00a0It is one of the oldest and largest events of its kind in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-94 c1-95 c1-b c1-96 c1-97 c1-98 c1-99 c1-9a\">Historically, employers have gathered in Atlanta over a Friday and Saturday in mid-July to interview the students they have preselected from a potential pool of around 600 diverse candidates. \u00a0Like on-campus interviews, the students that employers select are scheduled for 20-minute screening interviews in hotel meeting rooms, after which successful candidates are typically invited for call-back interviews. \u00a0Employers interview rising 2L and 3L students for summer and permanent jobs which commence a year later, or recent graduates for immediate openings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-94 c1-95 c1-b c1-96 c1-97 c1-98 c1-99 c1-9a\"><strong class=\"x-el x-el-span c1-28 c1-29 c1-8z c1-4g c1-6u c1-90 c1-b\">To ensure the safety of our participating students and employers, SEMJF 2020 will be hosted virtually this year, on October 29-30.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h1 class=\"x-el x-el-h1 c1-7s c1-2 c1-2a c1-2b c1-7t c1-13
