Here is how to proceed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students who <strong>HAVE<\/strong> supplied their form to Cheryl Edwards have <strong>nothing to do<\/strong>. The Authentication and Contact Information page that was added is Ms. Edwards&#8217; responsibility to complete.<\/li>\n<li>Students who <strong>HAVE<\/strong> <b>NOT <\/b>supplied their form to Cheryl Edwards must complete <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tnble.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/LAW-DEGREE-VERIFICATION-Special-July-2020.pdf\">this<\/a> <\/strong>revised Law Degree Verification form. Use the instructions page as a guide.\n<ul>\n<li>You will see on the Authorization and Release form that an electronic notarial acknowledgment is now permitted.\u00a0 The Law School&#8217;s administration <strong>has<\/strong> authorized Ms. Edwards to accept a student&#8217;s &#8220;under penalty of perjury&#8221; <strong>signature<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>You should complete those sections an applicant is responsible for and forward it to Ms. Edwards by <strong>April 15. <\/strong>This will allow her sufficient time to complete and forward your form to TNBLE by the May 1 deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>REMINDER: Tennessee&#8217;s Bar applicant\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwp.tnble.org\/?page_id=89\">deadlines<\/a>\u00a0remain the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you do not plan to sit for the bar in Tennessee, your state will have a form similar to Tennessee&#8217;s Law Degree Verification form.
