My colleagues and I are eager to visit the University of Memphis School of Law and to meet with student leaders and future lawyers.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll be at the Wade Auditorium on March 9 and 10 for a Heartland Common Ground Conference, which will explore consumer protection issues. The March 9th program is public and students are welcome to sit in on sessions as their class schedule may permit. Herbert Slatery, the Attorney General for the State of Tennessee, will provide keynote remarks around 1:00 p.m. that day. More details about the event\u2014including an agenda and speaker biographies\u2014are available on our Event Page.<\/p>\n
Working in the public sector–and at the Federal Trade Commission– has been a rewarding experience. In fact, the FTC regularly ranks as one of the best places to work in the federal government. I\u2019m fortunate to work with many brilliant lawyers and economists who are dedicated to our consumer protection mission.
