If you plan to graduate in May, you MUST complete steps 2 and 3 when applying to graduate.<\/p>\n

THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE: TOMORROW, Friday, January 24, 2020. ASK YOUR FRIENDS IF THEY HAVE APPLIED.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step Two:<\/strong> Submit your Application to Graduate<\/strong><\/p>\n

Submit your application by following these steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Visit your MyMemphis portal<\/em><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on the MyDegree tab<\/em><\/strong> and then locate the Commencement channel<\/em> (box) <\/strong>to access.<\/li>\n
  3. Review the Prerequisites to Graduate<\/em><\/strong>, then click on Apply to Graduate<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Select a term. Choose the most recent term or the term in which you last completed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step Three: Choose a diploma name, and enter a diploma address and gown information.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    If you need to update your name to include the full spelling of a middle name, please by the Law Registrar’s office to complete a name change form. Bring a state or federally issued ID that includes your middle name.<\/p>\n

    Step Four: REMINDER!<\/strong>\u00a0Law students who graduate in May are NOT required to complete Step 4. If you receive an email from the Commencement Office, you may disregard it.<\/p>\n
