(Coffee and Snacks to be provided!) . The topic of part one will be the intersection of borders and language: how to talk about immigration law.<\/p>\n<p>This event will be a great opportunity to learn the overview and basics of immigration law and to help understand and ask questions for the ACS Immigration Panel on <strong>October 31, at\u00a0<\/strong><span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><strong>noon<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>This will be a workshop facilitated by our scholar-in-resident Professor Robert Barsky.<\/p>\n<p>Robert Barsky is a Visiting Faculty in the Law School and Canada Research Chair in Law, Narrative, and Border Crossing in the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University. He was formerly a professor in the College of Arts and Science and the School of Law at Vanderbilt University.
