The University Counseling Center continues to provide downtown counseling services to law students. \u00a0Bringing a counselor to the law school has been a multi-year collaboration among law students and administrators, and we are all excited to have a counselor available to law students in a convenient location within our building.<\/p>\n
Confidential counseling appointments are available on Wednesdays, beginning after Labor Day 2019. Specific times TBA. Your specific appointment time will be determined when you call to make your appointment.<\/p>\n
Dr. David Deason is the counselor assigned to the law school.<\/p>\n
Initial appointments are available by calling the University Counseling Center at 901-678-2068. \u00a0Recurring appointments can be made directly with Dr. Deason during your visit. Please let the counseling center know that you are a law school student, and that you would like to see the counselor at the law school.<\/p>\n
Counseling services will continue to be available to law students at the University Counseling Center\u00a0if you prefer. \u00a0You can find more information\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Please note that our ability to keep a counselor at the law school is dependent on student utilization,\u00a0so please be sure to take advantage of this resource.<\/p>\n
