ASB 2019 Participant Application_Final<\/a>\u00a0The 2019 Alternative Spring Break Applications are posted above. Last year we had over 80 participants (including several from other law schools) spending four days of their Spring Break to offer legal assistance to those who need it most in Memphis. Besides earning 32 of your required 40 hours of pro bono service for graduation, you get to apply what you have learned in real world legal situations\u00a0and help\u00a0our vulnerable populations. 1L’s, 2L’s, and 3L’s are all encouraged to apply. Spots in specific tracks are competitive so apply early. You will receive training, experience, breakfast, lunches, a T-shirt to commemorate your experience, make new friends, work with attorney supervisors, but the relief\u00a0when you help resolve your client’s legal issue\u00a0is really the payoff. Please reach out to any of the PALS exec board if you have questions, especially Joshua Lester,\u00a0 ASB coordinator.
