{"id":10679,"date":"2018-03-13T12:09:57","date_gmt":"2018-03-13T17:09:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/memphislawblog.com\/?p=10679"},"modified":"2018-03-13T12:09:57","modified_gmt":"2018-03-13T17:09:57","slug":"law-review-symposium-march-16-2018-registration-closed-and-room-reservations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/memphislawblog.com\/index.php\/law-review-symposium-march-16-2018-registration-closed-and-room-reservations\/","title":{"rendered":"Law Review Symposium March 16, 2018 \u2013 **Registration Closed and Room Reservations**"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Volume 48 <em>The University of Memphis Law Review<\/em> will welcome over 300 people to its annual symposium this year on Friday, March 16, 2018, <strong>The American Addiction: Pathways to Address the Opioid Crisis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The event will primarily take place in Wade Auditorium beginning at 8:30 a.m. Due to this year\u2019s overwhelming and unparalleled response for the Law Review\u2019s Symposium, the Historic Court Room will serve as an overflow space with a live-stream of the program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Both Wade Auditorium and the Historic Court Room will be filled to capacity with registered attendees.<\/strong> If you have not registered to attend a portion of the event, you will not be able to access these spaces on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Law Review has reserved the following rooms for the indicated times on Friday, March 16, 2018:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wade Auditorium (program) 7 a.m. \u2013 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Historic Court Room (program) 7 a.m. \u2013 7 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Student Lounge (lunch) 11 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Gordon Ball Reading Room (lunch) 11 a.m. \u2013 2 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will post signs on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the entrances to these spaces designating that Law Review has reserved them for exclusive use during these times. <strong>We ask that you do not leave your belongings in any of these designated spaces during any of the indicated times above<\/strong> to accommodate the rather large crowd gathering at the law school for the symposium on Friday.
