BLSA will host its annual Civil Rights Panel on February 28th in Wade Auditorium at 12:00PM-1:00PM. The panel will consist of speakers reflecting on the Civil Rights Movement and its Future. Our Moderator will be Daniel Keel, Law Professor at the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Confirmed Panelists:\u00a0Mike Cody, Esq<\/u>, Burch Porter & Johnson: defended MLK in Sanitation Strike;\u00a0Walter Bailey, Esq,<\/u>\u00a0brother of D\u2019Army Bailey and one of the lawyers on brief for\u00a0Tennessee v. Garner\u00a0<\/i>before U.S. Supreme Court; Tami Sawyer<\/u>, Civil Rights Activist, Educator, and founder of Take ‘Em Down 901; Vikki Terry<\/u>, Executive Director of the NAACP Memphis Branch.
