The new University of Memphis Advocacy Program, MARS (Memphis Advocacy, Resources, and Support) is still accepting law students who would be willing to serve as advisers or advocates. The MARS program is meant to connect students to resources and advocates that can guide them\u00a0through the university processes related to\u00a0investigating and deciding on sexual misconduct cases.\u00a0Graduate students are being recruited to volunteer to serve as advisers or advocates.\u00a0 Advisers will provide broad information on advocates, University, and community resources, while explaining the path of University processes, while advocates are specially trained volunteers, who will provide support and ensure the individual\u2019s interests are represented every step along the path of University processes.<\/p>\n
