Workshop | Life in Limbo

Students who are particularly passionate about family law/child welfare,  “Life in Limbo“ is an interactive workshop by Fostering Great Ideas® that gives individuals the opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of the foster care experience. In this role-play workshop about foster care, participants step into the shoes of birth parents, foster parents, and the displaced children, learning what it feels like to live their lives. Participants grow in empathy for all affected as they learn about the complexities of the child protective system and how to advocate for these children.

This program is being sponsored by the UofM athletic department and
is being held on campus next week

Tuesday, March 29th
from 10am to noon
