Work Orders & Student Travel Funds
Dear Students,
I am writing to remind you about some important information:
Work Orders
- Work orders must be entered in advance for all law school events that require custodial or maintenance personnel to move furniture during setup or breakdown. A work order must also be entered for all events that require custodial or maintenance staff to work after 4:30pm weekdays or to work weekends.
- Work orders will be placed for all law school events by Ann Onidas. It is preferred that you provide Ann with detailed information regarding your event at least a week before the scheduled begin date.

Student Funding Sources
The only sources of student funding for law students and student organizations come through the Student Government Association on the University of Memphis main campus. Three types of funding are available:
- Operational Assistance Funding (up to $400 each semester per organization and can be used for supplies, postage, copies/printing, business cards, etc. – not available to fund food)
- Student Travel Funding (Deadline to apply is September 15 for Fall travel)
- Note that requests to the law school for travel funding will receive only partial funding if a request has not been submitted first to the Student Government Association.
- Student Event Allocation Funding
