WAITLIST PROCEDURE CHANGING!

Spring 2022 registration begins next week!
Earlier today, you should have received an email from the main Registrar’s office regarding a new waitlist procedure. I have provided the text below.
The Registrar’s Office is excited to announce waitlisting as part of Spring 2022 registration. Students who are interested in a full section can add themselves to a list and they will receive an email if a space becomes available. Students can add and remove themselves from waitlists at the same place where they register and make schedule changes in the myMemphis portal. Waitlisting will eliminate the need for students to repeatedly check the status of a course section to determine if there are any open spaces. Learn more about waitlisting at https://www.memphis.edu/registrar/students/selfserv/waitlisting.php.
The Law School will be using the same waitlist procedure. You will no longer email the Law Registrar’s office to be added to a waitlist. If a course is full, you can add yourself to the waitlist in myMemphis. You will be able to monitor your place in line, remove yourself from a waitlist, etc. It is very important that you read and understand the new waitlist procedure prior to your designated registration day.
Please note: You will not be able to register or be added to a waitlist for externships, clinics, Moot Court travel teams nor any Law Review “courses”, because there is an application process and/or a permit required. If you’ve been approved to enroll in any of these courses, I have or will contact and provid you with a permit.
If you have any questions about the waitlist procedure or anything related to registration, please feel free to contact Law Registrar, Cheryl Edwards.
