Dear 3Ls,

Please see the important announcement below from Lisa Perlen, Executive Director of the TNBLE.

Thanks,
Dean Aden

Good afternoon, all,

The Board adopted and the Supreme Court approved an addition Board Policy P-4.07(d), adding a new subparagraph (4):

4) First-time Examination Applicants Graduating in May 2018: An MPRE score of 75 – 81 earned by a first time exam applicant who graduated in May, 2018, on an MPRE examination administered in March, August or November, 2017, will be valid for the July 2018 examination only. If an applicant who graduates in May, 2018, is unsuccessful on the July 2018 examination, or does not take the July 2018 examination in Tennessee, an MPRE score of less than 82 will not be accepted for subsequent examinations.

Any of your students graduating in May who have an MPRE score of 75 – 81 from the March, August or November 2017 MPRE administration will be able to use that score for admission after the July  2018 bar exam, if all other admission criteria are met (pass the July 2018 bar exam and character & fitness approved).
