UofM National Trial Team – Tryouts (10/4 – 10/6)

Our National Trial Team will be holding tryouts from Monday, October 4th through Wednesday, October 6th.  This year the mock trial travel team will be coached by Brigid Welsh, Neighborhood Preservation Clinic staff attorney, with assistance from Shelby County Assistant District Attorneys Ashley Finch and Katie Farley.  The National Mock Trial team participates in one of the largest mock trial competitions in the country, the National Trial Competition, which is co-sponsored by the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.  Being a member of this team provides 2Ls and 3Ls a unique opportunity to hone litigation skills and master the rules of evidence in a fun, supportive, yet challenging environment.

If you’re at all interested in the team, we encourage you to tryout.  Here’s how:

  1. Join the TWEN page – “2021-2022 National Mock Trial Team”
