U.S. Air Force JAG Information
Hello from the Pentagon! My name is Major Morgan Herrell, and I’ve recently taken over as the Air Force JAG Corps’ Chief of Recruiting. I’ve really loved my 7 years in the JAG Corps, so I’m excited to share that with you and your students. I attached my official bio below my signature if you want to get an idea of where my career has taken me so far.
Air Force JAG Upcoming Employment and Externship Opportunities: we have several opportunities about to open up for students –
November Direct Appointment Board: the application portal for our next Direct Appointment Program board – for full-time employment as a JAG after graduation – will run from 1 September through 10 October. I’ve attached that flyer below as well. Students should feel free to contact af.jag.recruiting@us.af.mil if they have any questions about the application requirements.
Summer Paid Internship and Externships: while application windows have not yet opened for the summer, we will offer both paid and unpaid summer options for students nationwide.
