Two 2L Bar Governor Positions Open Spring 2019
The SBA is looking to fill two 2L Bar Governor Positions for Spring 2019. The responsibilities of the 2L Bar Governors will include attending weekly meetings on Mondays at noon, assisting with SBA events, and serving as the liaison between the SBA Administrative Board and the Student Body, specifically the 2L class. The 2L Bar Governors will make class announcements to the 2L class to provide information on SBA events and news. Bar Governors will also serve on two SBA committees such as events, student enrichment, and community service.
Being a 2L Bar Governor is a great opportunity for students to get involved and have a voice in the law school and the university at large. Serving as a 2L Bar Governor is a great way to get experience in if you plan to run for a leadership position for the 2019-2020 school year.
To apply please e-mail a short statement of interest (no more than 200 words) to Lauren Hutton at lehutton@memphis.edu. An applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.0. If you have any questions please address SBA President, Lauren Hutton; current 2L Bar Governors, James Washburn or Colin Donoghue; Election Commissioner, Lauren Gray; or any member of the SBA Administrative Board.
