The Federalist Society and the National Lawyers Guild invites all students and faculty to join us in Wade Auditorium on Tuesday, October 21, from 12:00-1:00. Professor John Stinneford from Florida Law will give his “Death Penalty” talk, followed by comments from our own Professor Steven Mulroy and an open Q&A.
In his presentation, Professor John Stinneford will discuss the Supreme Court and the death penalty. He will talk about the meaning behind “cruel and unusual punishment” and give a historical perspective on the origins of the 8th Amendment.
