Tennessee Bar Association Health Law Primer & Forum 11/11 & 11/12
Next month’s Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) Health Law Primer & Forum are both free to attend for currently enrolled law students. Now in its 26th year, the primer is an opportunity for those interested in learning the basics of the practice area. This program provides a general overview from experienced health care leaders and guidance on navigating the heavily regulated industry.
The 38th Annual TBA Health Law Forum is the premier program for health law professionals in the Southeast. Around 300 lawyers, sponsors and practice leaders convene for a two-day program in Nashville’s Music City Center. Topics at the forum include a keynote address by Former Inspector General of the U.S. Dept. of HHS, Christi Grimm, supervision of advanced practice providers, certificates of need and licensure, AI in health care, an update from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and more.
Several Tennessee law school professors will also participate in programming, including Vanderbilt University Law School Professor James Blumstein, who will speak at the primer. Belmont University School of Law Dean Deborah Farringer, University of Tennessee Winston College of Law Professor Zack Buck and Vanderbilt University Law School Professor Ellen Wright Clayton will present at the forum.
Both events include meals and receptions. Learn more using the links and details below. Contact TBA Health Law Section Coordinator Jarod Word at jword@tnbar.org with any additional questions.
