TBA Membership (and Opt-Out)

The Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) is Tennessee’s largest legal network for legal professionals. TBA offers a free law student membership.

Benefits include special programming and events, mentoring, travel discounts, career development, and legal news and resources (see full benefits here).

As you advance in your career, legal associations such as the TBA will play a critical role in your life as a lawyers. Bar associations serve as advocates for the profession, help lawyers expand their networks, and stay informed on all law related updates.

Most of our 2Ls and 3Ls already have a student TBA membership.  TBA is now expanding the offering to include our 1L students. We hope you will all take advantage of this opportunity.

Students who do not opt out will automatically be enrolled as student members in the TBA.
