Taping in Gordon Ball Reading Room July 7 & 8

A videographer will be onsite Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8 in the Fourt Floor Gordon Ball Reading Room filming interviews of the 2025 Pillars of Excellence award recipients. They are using a corner of the room so please be quiet if you need to pass through.

We apologize for any inconvenience to students.

The Pillars of Excellence Award was created in 2007 by the University of Memphis Alumni Association Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Chapter to recognize attorneys in the Memphis-area legal community who have made significant contributions to the practice of law in their civic and professional lives. Each of these recipients exemplify and exceed this standard. Honorees are nominated and selected by the chapter’s Former Presidents Committee.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Law School and student scholarships.
