What is the survey?
The Diversity Office Climate & Inclusion Survey is a 14-question survey that takes about 7-8 minutes to complete. The survey asks questions about the climate for inclusion at Memphis Law, individual experiences at Memphis Law, and asks that survey-takers provide optional demographical information.
Why should students, faculty, and staff take the survey?
Students, faculty, and staff should take the survey because Memphis Law is committed to an inclusive learning and working environment for all. The results of this survey will help us determine where improvement and growth is most-needed!
When is the survey available?
The climate survey officially launched Monday, March 28th and will be available until Sunday, April 10th at 11:59pm.
How will the survey results be used, shared, and reported?
Confidentiality of survey results is extremely important. Hence, the survey is completely anonymous and survey results will only be produced in aggregate form and only in a way that will not compromise any personal information provided on the identity of survey-takers and those mentioned in survey responses.
The survey results will be used internally by the Memphis Law Diversity Office and aggregate results provided to administration
To the extent that it is helpful to fulfill the mission of the School of Law or Diversity Office, survey aggregate and anonymous results may be used in legal scholarship and/or provided for reports with the American Association of Law Schools, Law School Admissions Council, the American Bar Association and similar organizations in aggregate form and without any identifying information of survey takers.
