Sundial Media & Technology Group seeks a 2L, 3L, or graduate taking the bar to serve as a paid intern or summer law clerk. Corporate Counsel Peter Colin is a Memphis undergrad alumnus and therefore wanted to reach out to Memphis Law.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or memoranda. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents and correspondence. Support case preparation and file management. Assist in IP portfolio management (copyright registrations, track trademark filings, extensions, and office action correspondence, and assist in content licensing). Ongoing review of data privacy, information security, and AI implementation policies and assist in rollout of compliance initiatives. Contract lifecycle management administration matters and assist in contract process improvement. Attend meetings or hearings (as applicable) and take notes. Perform administrative tasks to support the legal department.
$25/per hour, full time.
Summer work would be in the Brooklyn office Tuesday through Thursday. Anticipated dates May 1 through July 31. Any other remote work would have to be negotiated and pre-approved by the employer.
This position is ideal for someone who’s completed 2L and taken coursework in IP, technology and data privacy, marketing/advertising, First Amendment, employment, and AI.
