SELS: VP OF LEGAL AFFAIRS FOR DC COMICS MONDAY IN WADE

Join the Sports and Entertainment Law Society this Monday (10/1) to hear from Jay Kogan, the Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs at DC Comics. Jay has also served as an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School where he taught Intellectual Property Licensing and Drafting. Jay’s presentation, “Even Superheroes Need Lawyers,” discusses the copyright, trademark, and publicity rights that DC holds for its characters. Jay uses several case examples and has given this presentation to law schools and conferences across the country.
