William Wooten, Esq., a member of the Tennessee, Missouri, and Texas State Bar Associations, will be coming to speak on Monday, Feb 20th at 12:00 in Room 127. Mr. Wooten is an attorney, mediator, certified human resource professional and former beverage entrepreneur and business development specialist. Mr. Wooten’s legal practice includes sports and entertainment law, business transactions and contract negotiations, corporate and entrepreneurial law, intellectual property, workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and collections.
In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Wooten is a former founder and owner of multiple beverage companies. Mr. Wooten also has previous management and business development experience in the Entertainment and Clothing Industries where he developed expertise in writing business plans, negotiating domestic and international licensing deals, obtaining product endorsements and sponsorships for athletes and artists, and providing creative legal solutions for great business ideas. Mr. Wooten’s current celebrity and athlete clients include Mark Cuban, Kenny Smith, Nelly, Meek Mill, Justise Winslow, and Shantell Jackson.
