SELS Guest Speaker – Zach Kleiman Grizzlies in-house counsel – lunch provided

SELS is proud to have Zach Kleiman, in-house counsel for the Memphis Grizzlies, on October 12th in room 244 from 12:00 to 12:50.

After graduating from Duke School of Law in 2013, Kleiman worked as an associate with Proskauer Rose LLP in New York, where he was able to gain experience working with professional sport teams, such as the 2014 sell of the Buffalo Bills for $1.4 billion. Proskauer itself has been a longtime legal adviser to the NFL, reaping millions from the league for outside legal services in recent years. Following a successful tenure at Proskauer Rose, Kleiman accepted the position of Memphis Grizzlies counsel in June of 2015.

Prior to graduating from Duke Law School, Kleiman gained experience while working for the Charlotte Bobcasts, the Oakland Raiders, the New York Knicks, and Fox Sports Net working on the Best Damn Sports Show and in their music department.

Come learn about the role of an in-house counsel for a professional sports team and the process Zach Kleiman had in achieving his goal of becoming in-house counsel for an NBA team.

We look forward to seeing everyone there.
