Seersucker Flash Mob and Lunch

Seersucker Flash Mob

The 6th Annual Seersucker Flash Mob will be next Wednesday, August 31st, at noon in the Peabody Hotel lobby. This Memphis tradition draws leading lights of the local bar and judiciary each year, male and female, to show off their seersucker one last time before summer’s end. (Of course, seersucker enthusiasts from outside the legal profession are welcome, too.) The event usually accompanies a “pass the hat” for Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS). This year, those wearing seersucker get a 20% discount at the nearby Capriccio Grill and Peabody Deli & Desserts.
